Proof of the origin of goods can be provided in different ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Preferential certificates of origin issued by customs authorities (FORM A, EUR1, EUR-MED, etc.).
\u2022 Declaration of origin simply indicated on the invoice or commercial document of the exporter. In this case, two situations may arise:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Shipments below \u20ac6,000.
\u2003\u2003No authorization is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Shipments above \u20ac6,000.
\u2003\u2003One of the following conditions is required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-> Being an Authorized Exporter (AE).<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The application for AE status is a one-time procedure in which the economic operator provides the competent customs authority with the necessary information. Once authorization is granted, and during its validity, it applies to all exports of the covered originating goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To be accredited as an Authorized Exporter by customs authorities, certain requirements must be met:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Conduct exports regularly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Exporter Registration System, known as REX, is the certification system for product origin that the European Union implemented for preferential trade agreements (GSP). Through these agreements, the European Union grants unilateral tariff preferences to developing countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The economic operator from a country with preferential agreements with the EU must be registered in a database maintained by their national authorities.
